Lovely place , lovely people

We, 8 adults and 6 children, the two youngest 6 month and 8 weeks, stayed at Villa Mare a week in June 2017. Villa Mare more than met our expectations. It was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay situated right by the Adriatic Sea with a splendid view over the sea and some small islands. Plenty of room for all of us. The house was big, luxurious and very pleasant with several balconies. Especially one of them had a magical view over the sea.The housekeeper came by several times. A very sweet and helpful lady, who happened to be a tourist guide. She gave us many good suggestions for sightseeing in the area. One thing you have to know though, before you book. Villa Mare is situated very isolated, 25 minutes drive to nearest little town Ston, where you can buy groceries ect. There are however three restaurants on the little marina just 2 minutes walk from the house. If you are disabled or generally have problems walking, it might not be the perfect place to stay either, as there are a lot of stairs to climb. As for our family, we were all very happy with our holiday at Villa Mare and plan to come back soon😊.
