Villa Mares is our best and most luxurious, award-winning villa in the peaceful village of Mirca, close to Supetar, the central town of Brač Island, Croatia. The villa is situated just a few meters from the beach and offers spacious outdoor areas with fabulous views of the sea and the mainland. With 320 m² of interior space, the villa is decorated with design furniture. It can accommodate up to 13 guests and consists of a 4-bedroom main house and a 2-bedroom annex.
On the ground floor of the main house, there are 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, each with its own small terrace, an extra toilet with a laundry room, a spacious living room with a TV set and fireplace, a dining area, and a centrally positioned main kitchen with a long bar. The master bedroom on the first floor of the main house is the largest bedroom in the villa. Next to the room is a large bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi bathtub for two. The master bedroom has a direct exit to a huge first-floor terrace with fantastic views of the sea and sunsets.
The guest annex and the main house are located next to each other and are connected by porches and terraces. The annex includes 2 more bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an additional gourmet kitchen.
The sea-side outdoor area features a large veranda on stone pillars, providing shade over a dining table for 14, a wooden pool deck area with several sunbeds, and a 24m² heated infinity swimming pool. The villa is surrounded by gardens and lawns and has direct access to a pebble beach. The path leading to the beach passes between a small vineyard and a garden featuring organic fruits, vegetables, and a variety of Mediterranean herbs.

The villa has an amazing location and is immaculate. Sanja was so helpful and an incredible host. We all had the best time in the villa and the facilities are perfect and you could not wish for a better place to stay. We had a wedding blessing at the villa and the sunset was truly beautiful.

Villa Mares Aug 24
A fantastic, spacious and comfortable villa for our group of 4 couples and 5 teenagers. Air conditioning throughout the villa which we needed at night. Great location with stunning views and sunsets. Owner Sanja was super helpful with recommendations, she greeted us with a home baked fig cake which was stunning (unfortunately we needed a doctor on Saturday and she even suggested her husband could pick up the prescribed antibiotics from Split, but managed to get them from the local pharmacy in the end). Vlatka (manager ?) booked a local chef for one night who cooked us an amazing 4 course meal! We also hired a boat for the day for a round the island trip with lunch in a seaside restaurant overlooking a tiny bay – it was a perfect day with a visit to Milna plus a few stops to swim in crystal clear waters- would highly recommend the trip. Overall a great week on Brac.

Villa Mares I
Die Kuestenfahrt mit zwei Autos war einzigartig und als wir in Brac ankamen waren wir richtig neugierig was uns hier erwartet. Wir sind problemlos angekommen und sind auch gleich auf die Terrasse gegangen um den Ausblick zu geniessen und mit den ersten Drink alle zusammen anzustossen.
Wunderschoen kann ich nur sagen, genauso war auch der gesamte Urlaub.

Family holiday at Villa Mares
We had an amazing experience with Sanja and Villa Mares. She could not do enough to help us when we asked, the house was bigger than it looks from the pictures and even more beautiful, the garden gives a buffer to the beach which is really accessible, there is a cafe on the beach, a bakery round the corner, and the sea is gorgeous to swim in.

I would recommend hiring bikes at the beginning of the week as that makes everything more accessible.
